Cincinnati Cinturn CNC Retrofit with Fanuc 0i-TD
Picture 1: This is a cnc retrofit of an Cincinnati Cinturn. It is the second retrofit for this machine. We replaced the open architecture system with a Fanuc 0i-TD and Fanuc servo drives and separate encoder for the X axis and spindle encoder. The 75 hp DC spindle motor is powered by a Bardac DC drive.C and servo system and Control Techniques table drive. It has a two 6 stations turrets and it using the Manual Guide i programming system.
Picture 2: This a picture of the drive cabinet.
Picture 3: This is a picture of the magnetics cabinet. To keep costs to a minimum for the customer, we kept the old starters and integrated the Model A I/O to the wire harness. The Separate Detector Unit is also mounted here.
Picture 4: Pictured is the X axis servo motor mounted and the separate detector.
