Here are a few more projects that we were given. These photos are just an example of the wide variety of machine tools that we have retrofitted over the years.

Cincinnati Arrow 750
This machine tool had a controller that was damaged by lightning and the customer could not get it repaired because parts were no longer supported. With very little modification to the wiring harness, we were able to re-use the pendant and get this customer running with a new CNC. He did not realize it when we quoted him, but, when we asked him to check his insurance he found that he was covered for this kind of damage and had no out of pocket cost for the entire retrofit.
Cincinnati Arrow 750 Operator Pendant
This is the operator pendant for the machine above. It is a new operator pendant with new display and operator controls mounted to the original swivel.
Giddings & Lewis boring mill
This Giddings & Lewis boring mill was a point to point machine. We added 4 servo drives, a spindle drive and a Dynapath Delta 2000 CNC controller. The existing ball screws were used and modified to be controlled by individual servo motors. We used Heidenhain linear scales for position feedback.
Devlieg Mill
This is a picture a Devlieg mill that was converted from a point to point machine to a 4 axes servo driven machine capable of contouring in 3 axes. The servo drives are Yaskawa and we also added an Allen Bradley Powerflex AC inverter drive for increased spindle control. In addition, we added Heidenhain linear scales with .5 um resolution.
Ball screws were installed on 4 axes.
Okuma MC60-H
This is a picture of a mid 80's Okuma MC60-H machining center with two pallet stations, a one degree rotary table and a 70 pocket tool magazine. It is shown without the covers. We retrofitted it with a Dynapath Delta 2000 CNC, 4 Yaskawa servo drives and a 25 HP Yaskawa spindle drive. The tool changer positioned by absolute encoder which was replaced with an "off the shelf" absolute encoder. This machine was a victim of Hurricane Katrina and was resurrected by the owners for their new machine shop.
Above Okuma
This shows the interior of the electrical cabinet. The new Dynapath Delta 2000 cnc is in upper left corner. The new Yaskawa servo drives are in the upper right corner. The new Yaskawa spindle drive is located below the new cnc.
